Qualco UK sign up as AFC Wimbledon shirt sponsors for three more years
Qualco UK has signed up to sponsor AFC Wimbledon for another three years, but there will be a new name on the back of the shirts for 2024/25.
The Togglit brand will replace Qualco UK in time for the home pre-season match versus Premier League club Brentford on Saturday 20 July.
Togglit is Qualco UK’s consumer-facing brand that aims to help people in financial difficulty to take control of their situation and regain financial health. The application enables registered users to manage multiple accounts through a single gateway, enabling them to share information with selected organisations at once, thereby helping to reduce the level of stress that individual may be facing.
The platform offers a step-by-step guide to the account management process to help educate customers, and signposts independent debt advice if required.
Andrew Stead, Head of Commercial at AFC Wimbledon, said: “We thank all at Qualco UK for their support in their first season with us – and we’re delighted that they are continuing with their sponsorship. We’re proud to be associated with a forward-thinking tech company who are continuing to grow and we want to support them in their journey. Thanks again to Christian and all the team!”
James Goddard, Togglit product owner at Qualco UK said “We are thrilled to build on last season’s relationship and continue our partnership with AFC Wimbledon. Remaining as the back-of-the-shirt sponsor but now leading with our consumer facing brand, ‘Togglit’, a financial wellness solution aimed at helping people with their debts.
Through innovation, we have designed and built Togglit with the aim of removing barriers by providing those in debt with a simple to use, self-serving platform that will lead to the promotion of financial wellness and the lowering of stress and anxiety levels that comes with having to manage multiple debts.
We want to change the way people perceive how debt is managed by encouraging use of our free-to-use service to show that the decision of ignoring the problem and not engaging can be replaced with positive interactions and good outcomes.
Our partnership with AFC Wimbledon forms a key part of our long-term vision for Togglit, by sponsoring a club with a fantastic history and strong community presence, we aim to grow awareness of our solution and increase the number of people we can help. We look forward to another positive season ahead and are excited to be part of the club’s continued evolution.”
