The team at Qualco UK announces its new back of shirt partnership with AFC Wimbledon for the 2023/2024 football season. The Sky Bet League Two team kicked off its campaign in an away game at Grimsby Town on Saturday 5 August with a 0-0 draw.

The partnership is aligned with the launch of Qualco UK’s consumer-facing offering, trading as Togglit. The service reduces the pressure of multiple creditors on those in financial hardship, enabling them to take back control of their debts and pay back what they can afford in a regular payment plan.

The platform offers a step-by-step guide to the account management process to help educate customers, and signposts independent advice help if required.

There is a proven link between sport, wellbeing and mental health and through this new relationship Qualco aims to engage with the local community and help those with problem debts find a way back to financial health through the use of some of its innovative tools.

Previously, Qualco UK has partnered with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to provide support to schools and Harlequins RFC to address mental health issues, using the values of sport to provide wellness and relieve anxiety.

Andrew Stead, Head of Commercial at AFC Wimbledon said: “As a club, we’re pleased to welcome Qualco UK as our new back of shirt partner for the upcoming campaign. They are a forward-thinking tech company, who will align well with our ambitions. I’d like to thank Christian and his team for their support of the Club – and we can’t wait to build upon this partnership.”

Christian Jacob, Managing Director at Qualco UK said: “Partnering with AFC Wimbledon is a significant milestone in Qualco UK’s mission to help customers get back to financial health. We can’t wait to get started with the team on an outreach programme for the fans in the local area to improve their financial wellbeing. Debt can feel so overwhelming, but with small, simple steps, people can feel more secure and take control of their money. We are looking forward to a successful season with AFC Wimbledon and the Club’s passionate fans.”
